almost all the fcs with 13b-re transplants I see are missing either power steering or air conditioning. Not gonna give up either of those

It's a pain, lot of stuff to adapt to work with all the fc accessories, but that bit's done. I'm quite happy with how the intake piping came out. It was just 2-3 straight days of fabbing and test fitting stuff.

Now I have to find a vac port for the bov, hook up the EGT probe to the wbo2 unit, seal off the fresh air intake to the cabin (rusted out), and a couple of other little small things. Just got tired, have two herniated discs, couldn't keep working on it. I'd mess with it now, but it's late and I don't want to **** off my neighbors. Just got in from dealing with some family obligations. Hoping to have it on the road this week and get a tune in.

It's running. Has boost. I'm just waiting on rails, injectors, fpr, fittings, and a walbro 485 and going to switch it to run on e85. Bring the boost up around 30psi

everything as pictured pretty much. old wolf3d v4 running things, pt67 ball bearing turbo, rb exhaust, and a rebuild of the filthiest 13b-re I've ever seen.

RXparst apex seals, atkins corner seals, RA soft seals. https://imgur.com/a/g75c3gn

Was just doing some 25psi pulls last night then had a bad idle after, stalled at a light... vac bouncing around a bit and not as much as normal... Still pulled like a freight train, though. I thought something damaged in engine...

Compression sounded fine when cranking and with plugs out the pulses felt the same... but something was still not right.

I just got back from autozone, grabbed a compression tester. Nice even compression.

So after considering one of the trailing plugs was wet and the other was dry, I checked the ignition and sure enough, T1 wasn't firing.

Yet another fd igniter failed.

I'm going to replace ignition setup with ign1as... also considering switching to a haltech 1500 but not sure i want to spend the funds on this old car, so will probably just leave the wolf in there for now.

I like the closed loop O2 and long term tuning in the Haltechs, though. That said, running E85 the safety margins are increased. hm.

I've always done my own tuning. I'll likely bring it to Wayne's shop at some point to see how much power it's making.

I thought I posted the info on the fuel system, but I guess not.

It's the full function rail kit with 4x 2000cc ID injectors.

I'll see how the walbro does. So far I've run the car up to 28psi at 7500 rpm and still had some duty cycle available. If it needs more, I'll add another with some check valves, not a big deal.

Yeah, works well enough... I'd like something more modern like a haltech 1500, but not putting any more money into this at the moment. Just ordered alternator, starter, ign1as, 485, etc.

Installed some IGN1As and the car is running again.

13B-RE in FC-idpzuxfl.jpg

bracket I made up quick
13B-RE in FC-mfru7grl.jpg

adding a proper harness connector on the ignition wiring from the wolf
13B-RE in FC-rvfa3dkl.jpg

13B-RE in FC-bx9n0yfl.jpg

added a relay powering these, and lots of grounds. Had quite the harness to make.

added some more grounds to the rotor housings
13B-RE in FC-np7igxbl.jpg

Connected rotor grounds, battery grounds, and the ign1as to this grounding point directly below the bracket. Sorry no pic with everything wired to it.

little bit of tuning left... would have finished it off, but lost boost.. either solenoid died or blew a hole in a coupler... will figure it out soon enough. I think solenoid related as I ended up on what I think is spring pressure?

I'm running straight e85. Lots of duty cycle left, not an issue with two pumps.
