13b na in TII housing

Hi guys,
This is for my 1st gen but I thought you gys might be the best to ask. Is it possible to use NA 13b rotors from a 2nd gen in a motor from a TII (I am running a TII engine with a carbie in my s2)?

from my understanding yes. but you have to have the same flywheel and counterweight. so say you had 90 na rotors, you would need flywheel and counterweight from a 89-91 na.

Weigh the rotors. s4 = heavier than s5. I believe Ted has the weights on his site (fc3s-pro.com i think). S5 rotors should beable to use any s5 flywheel, same for s4.

Edit.. oh the actual engine, not just the rotors. Get someone with a s5 to run out and measure how far away the spark plugs on their motor are. I believe s5 is closer together than a s4. Not only that, the s5 has an electronic MOP.

Is there a way without taking the engine apart, such as engine number?

look @ the OMP and the rotor housings. If it's mechanical, it's an S4 if it's electric it's S5; if there are holes above the sparkplug holes, then it's a turbo, if there arn't, then it's N/A.

What is an EGR valve,
Remember this engine has been swapped into a first gen so the gear could be all 1st gen (Too dark outside to check it now!)
