13b

Do all stock 2nd Gens come with the 13B engine?

Before everyone jumps in with "Duh everyone knows that!" or "use the search feature retard!" the answer is yes. The 13B became available on certain models in 1984 and became the standard and only engine from 1986 on. So all 2nd gens have a 13B.

yes the non turbo are the 13B and the turbo models (TII) have the 13BT

Yes, even the RX-8 has a 13B but the porting and FI setup is diffrent.

No, the Renisis is not techically a 13B because of the exhaust port design (on the side housings).

13B motors all have rotor housing exhaust ports.

And the FI set up is very very simular to the S5 non turbo 13B including VDI and aux ports on the HO versions.

i believe the n/a for 84-85 GSL-SE's is the 13B DEI and the n/a from 86-91 is 13B DEI-II, and as they said, 13BT for turbo

im a little rusty, but i think it was DEI 1 and 2, correct me if im wrong
