13 BREW swap into 2nd gen

ive searched this out but can't find any good in depth info
i have managed to locate a good engine, tranny wiring harness and ecu, and i need to know what stubborn hang ups anyone ran into in the swap, i realize that engine mounts, drive shaft fmic brackets, exhaust and that **** will need to be fabbed (obvious) but what about stupid **** like - does it even fit - or do i need to make abig shroud for the rad that can accomidate two elec. fans?

Basically anything will help, links, pics, or if youve already done it.
thanks in advance,
Joe Phillips

Just use the t2 drivetrain, switch to a s5 t2 clutch.
Motor mounts/fmic is the only real deal to worry about.

Why do you say that Ted?
Every part of the fd motor is better than an FC in terms of strength. Bearings/irons/port runners/manifolds,stat gears etc. I happen to get a dirt cheap half bridge'd REW that made 550rwhp so thats why I have one for my FC...
I do agree though that for most people it is, even s4 motors can make more power than most people could ever really want on the street. 400rwhp on the street is overkill IMO. My car is a not street driven.

I would go Cosmo 13B-RE.
Internals almost as good, and power potential is about the same.

Hell, I would just save up a little more and go 20B.
Once you go 20B, you can't go back!

i would assume ted would recommend that over the -REW, but i'll let the man speak for himself.

edit: *cough* guess i took too long to reply.
