1 Piston Caliper to 4 piston

I just recently took off a set of these from my friends FC. I got the front one's and mounted them onto my FC and put my single piston one's on his. He just sold it so I happaned to be lucky that I got them off a day before the sold it. But the pedal now feels a bit more "mushy" not has firm as it used to feel. I was thinking maybe I should just get some steel line, or steel braided brake line to eliminate some of that "mush".....any suggestions or comments as to why it may be a little more mushy?

This from Captain Obvious-

Did you bleed them properly? I would check that before you go slapping on stainless lines (not that that would be a bad idea anyhow...)

Other than that, I am not sure if there is a difference between master cylinders for the swap... someone with better knowledge can jump in here...

Yeah bled all the way around. For some reason feels fine now. I think I'm still going to get the steel braided brake lines...There is some air craft place where I live and the guy will customize/size them to your liking....$10 a piece....which isn't bad.... But yeah thanks anyways....

I always bleed once... then go back to the rear tire and bleed them all again a second time..
Pedel should feal as hard as a rock...
If you do have a VERY minor amount of air in the system it should eventually work it's way out..

Always good to give the calipers a few light wacks to help any air bubbles find their way to the top/bleeder.
