1/4 mile tines...(not pretty)

Here are my times, boost was 5.5 LBS

Mods are MP and DP, and no emissions.

RT........764
60 ft....2.382
330ft...6.532
1/8......9.914
1000...12.764
1/4......15.178

Not a good night for me. Got whooped by a civic (again).

If you are only boosting 5#s thats ok. You have to remember s4 tii's only ran like 15.3 stock. Removing emissions doesnt give u any power (besides the cats). Launch could be better though

Im sorry to say that i find that a little hard to believe that he ran a 13:7 running a cat-back on a T-II. "If he is only boosting 5lbs in his 89 T-II. I ran a 13:7 on my 88 T-II @ 103 mph, and thats with a Full Racing Beat Exhaust with down pipe. And my car was hitting 10-11 lbs of boost.
That was the second pass that night at the track because we were trying out diffrent sides of the track to see which side was hooking up better. Vosko im not saying your a liar but I would like you to prove me wrong. Also what setup were you running on your 89 T-II ?

LOL! J-rat, had those been sea-level times, my T-Bird would probably beat you! Anyhow-- it's really not that bad for an S4 at stock boost. One thing though... That trap speed is FAST. You should be able to launch alot better. Get some sticky tires and a better clutch and you'll be in 14s for sure.

J-rat, learn to drive, it's the best "mod" ever.

vosko said he had the stock car back, not his only mod was a catback.

I can read thanks. But there is no point in comparing one tii running 9+ psi to one running 5psi.

93+ mph? Yeah, that's good. Most low 15 sec runs I've seen hardly ever break 89 mph. Buy some drag radials, or at least wider rubber. How's the clutch on the car? Does it have LSD? My girlfriend pulled a 14.9 in her auto GT Mustang with a fried trac-lock and bald tires. If I remember correctly, her trap speed was 92 mph. Her car is also heavier that yours.

How are you launching your car? Rev and dump?

J-Rat will be 14.5-14.65 if he gets that launch down to 2.0. That is easily acheivable on a street tire. I think a 2.3 is pretty damn good for the first time at a track in his car.

totally normal for 5.5 lbs of boost...add some fuel and an FCD then you're golden. 5.5 lbs w/ a DP and MP sounds low unless you have a boost controller keeping it at stock levels. if I'm not mistaken the car should boost more w/ those mods. more fuel and 10 lbs will make for a damn quick car those pesky civics won't be able to touch

<--- trapped 103 with just the thunderfab dp/mp and cone filter. Boost was a solid 9-10 pounds though.

Get ahold of the launch and you will be in the 14's pretty solidly. Then get some fuel and let that bad boy boost!

I would think you would be boosting more with your dp and mp. What type of exhaust do you have? 3" all the way back? I have stock intake, FCD and 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust all the one back, single pipe and I'm pushing 8.5 psi. I'm not trying to diss your car, but i would think you should be boosting a little higher, that's all

The LSD is good, and I have a Stage 2 clutch, so its hitting hard. Maybe I am revving to hard at the line, because I am slipping pretty badly. Crazy thing is, I am barking the tires at every shift including 4th.

Oh no prob man, I totally agree. I dont have anything else besides the DP and MP. The rest of the exhaust is bone stock and really ratty.

Its all good now though, I installed my boost controller last night, and hit 8.5 PSI. Still had plenty of gas according to the AFM gauge. WHAT FUN!!

Running low 14s in a NA would require you hit like 190rwhp in your NA. I dont think nitrous counts as a bolt on. Got time slips or a vid?
unless you have a boost controller keeping it at stock levels.
Boost controllers cant lower boost..
