1/4 et ?????

Ok i am going to pick up my new 7 next week!!! I am so excited!!!! I am buying infiniFC's 89 T2 and I have a few questions about 1/4 times. I dont plan on taking it to the track or racing it for that matter. But I want to know what kinda times I would run if I did take it to the track.

Here is the list of mods under the hood:
Trust airnix filter
Greddy extreme exhuast(new)
custom 3" turbo inlet
Disabled secondary throttle plates
3" Hi-Flo Dynomax Catalytic Converter (new)
3" Racing Beat Downpipe
Hybrid Turbo Garrett T04B (Compressor) / Hitachi HT18 w/ ported wastegate
Apexi dual chambered BOV
Mild Street Port (intake and exhaust)
rebuilt block w/ FD corner seals and springs (4-5K miles)
Alluminum Shroud (Covers the open area in front of the radiator) (new)
Racing Beat Engine Brace
Magnacore 8.5mm Wires (New)
MSD 6A Ignition Pack (Leading Coils)
HKS FCD
Dual Pulley (Alternator)
Apexi ACV-R Boost Controller

Thanks for everyones advice and time

Oh good to hear that. Wouldn't want you to blow your engine the day you got the car.

Well I would say if tuned right and driven well maybe mid 12s.

Perform all the basic maintence and then have it dyno tuned with a wideband O2 sensor. Oh and start looking for a fmic.

I would say on your first run's, probably 13's or so until you got used to it, then I think it could easily get mid 12s.

"IF" your traction was there, you "COULD " see 12's but since you don't plan on taking it to the track, then i guess it's just all wishful thinking now. Honestly, you have a fine *** sportscar. DRIVE IT!!!! As far as i'm concerned, 14's.............

Naaaahhh more like high 14's, because you could have wheel hop and miss a shift at the same time. DRIVE IT!.........That's what it's there for.

first run you will probably roast either the tires or the clutch After you settle down I saw high 12's on sticky streets maybe mid 12's on drag radials. A LOT depends on how well you can drive

Yeah it has 245's on 17's I plan on getting some 15's or 16's with some street/drag radials for racing. I plan on taking it to the track a few times but not alot i dont want any engine problems like i had with my 91 na.

Yeah that's what i'm talking about. and keep the timeslip. I know this may not necessarily be you, but sooooo many people think it's just about, putting on car parts and then suddenly you have a 12 sec car. Not only does everything have to come together on the car. Which is easier said than done, but the driver has to be up to par as well. You're off to a good start. If you want it to last. take some extra precautions.......I addes 2 gallons of 107 octane to about 4 gallons of 93. For detonation purposes. Reduces the chance of getting a bad tank of gas. Always let it cool at least 15 mins, between runs, and run a little premix. watering and icing the I/C helps quite a bit too. A hot rotary is an Angry rotary.

Go with the 15's, more sidewall. The BBS convertibles look good and are light. If not, then go with 89-91 TII rims. Light and you could fit a 255-60. Once warmed at 10-12 psi, they HOOK UP. OH yeah these are my BF's

YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY BE IN THE 13'S EVEN WITH A BAD LAUNCH, BUT MISS A SHIFT YOU MIGHT SEE LOW 14'S. THAT WOULD BE GOOD FOR AN N/A NOT A TII!

I think it depends on your driving, and launcjing skills more than you would know. Drag racing a rex to its full potential, for me anyway, is hard. I may suck at driving, or something, but I took .7 off my et just from practice at first! My best run is a 14.2 so far and I know it can run in the 13's. I have full exhaust, intake, TID, starion fmic, ported TB and WG, and fuel.

By saying BF's he means BF Goodrich I beleive. Man you should hit 12s good with a decent driver. And just about everyone on this forum are exellent drivers. I would get a nice fmic.
