yeah if you went vmount you should definitely get a vented hood so air can flow through the intercooler and not just under it.

does anyone have a picture of a ReAmemiya hood scoop insert?? i saw one for sale on ebay once, but there was no picture, and rx7.com has a picture of the vented one.......any pictures of the soild type one??

I have and plan to retain the TII hood on my FMIC'd AE. I like the scoop, and regardless, it's still bringing cool air into the engine bay...

the t2 doesnt work even if you had a top mount, more or less cool it without one. Below 60 miles an hour the temp by the scoop is actually hot and past 60 it onyl stays at ambient. Go NA or CF and stay sleepy

NOO HOOOOD!!!! drive with no hood. It will save you money and will cool the engine off dramatically

I vote keep the hood, who cares about being a sleepr, if you really wanna put some hours in, make some sort of ram air diverter that send the air to your intake.

If you have a nice flat hood, go for it. Very sleeperesk. Actually should be more functional than the scooped hood.
