It would be cool to go for the sleeper look BUT after looking at both hoods the NA hood just looks so empty and lng without the scoop. I would keep it unless you really want the sleeper look.

if you want a sleeper go with the N/A hood, if you don't, go with the turbo hood. I love the way the turbo hood looks but when I do my conversion (GXL-II ) I'm going to go with the sleeper. Only thing to show it will be a -II or -T after the GXL on the side.
It depends on if you want to look powerful or look smoother.

Haven't we ALL heard this
Keep the hood. However, put that reverse scoop in place of the open scoop. At least that way it would be fuctional. Allowing heat to rise from the engine. And at speed it may allow hot air to leave the enigne.

I gotta keep the scoop! Im used to seeing the scoop as i go down the road. Its familiar, id be lost without it. With my car, the whole sleeper thing is out the door anyway!

I would keep the scoop. Its what sets the turbo's apart from the other 7's. It also makes them look a lot better. If you want to go for the sleeper look, but dont want to buy a new hood, they make inserts for the scoop that totally cover it. Then you would just have the power buldge.
