well fellers, today i installed another cat so i could actually run my car at night without the neighbors being upset at the noise. when i went to start my car afterwards it started up great, had an awesome idle and there was almost no hesitation.
i fine tuned the setting of my TPS and the hesitation was gone!!
i drove my car today as if nothing was ever wrong with it. from about 2pm to around 10pm i drove my car and enjoyed all the fun an FC has to offer.
however, once it got close to around 10 .......BAM......hesitation returned and i am now right back where i started with random hesitation and sputtering/backfiring on deceleration then dying. it will always start right back up but goes right back into being kinda unstable.
today was the longest i have been able to run it without a problem since it all started a couple months ago.
what a fun day, but i just don't know.

"just pull the injecters" they say.
Bah!! what a load of crap. injectors are a big *** pain to get to.
well, i finally got em out and it looks like i'll be replacing a bunch of vac. lines i broke. the o-rings aren't terrible but they are not a "tight" seal. the thick grommets were hard as rocks, the outside of the injectors were black and had crud on them(especially the primaries), the pintle caps are extremely discolored and have some buildup on em(at least on the outside).
any recommendations for cleaning em on my own? or should i buck up and have em pro cleaned? suggestions for local injection cleaning?
