i have a similar problem.... i replaced my UIM and LIM and removed rats nest and now have 3 vac lines ....car will not start ever since ....and installed aux ports 5/6th if that would matter ....list of things checked

TPS is set correctly ....
checked for vac leaks ...and saw none
all vac lines are caped ....
OMP on UIM are removed but ones on block are not
removed ACV
TB mod
car acts like its not getting fuel ....

but if its push started by a second car it runs..... NO idle
so any help or pics of car w/out rats nest or ACV would help .....and i say all this b/c it is a close problem with a similar answer....and those would be things to look at for everyone also .....sorry if i thread jacked ...any help would be nice tho thanks please post pics !!

i tried that too. Im going to try taking off the upper intake manifold and double check all the hose again. did you tried the MAF yet. I know its not a Fuel Problem or Timming as of now. Check the soldnoid on the Vac rack. it felt to me like its not getting enough air into the rotor. So try the MAF as of now. It might be that the Flap on the MAF is not opening like it suppose too. thats just what i think. But ill check my again fri after i got off school. Im still in high school so i dont have much time to work on it.

I don't know...

Would a clogged exhaust cause this? Check the fuel solenoid resistor under the air box per FSM (I'm *not* talking about the AFM).

Search "pictures sensors reference" with my name under advanced search. I'm working on organizing it better, but you'll see some pictures there. BTW, FSM links in my sig.

Its a vac leak. 100% sure. Thats what N/As do when you have a vac leak. Dont ask me how I know.

Trust me, check everywhere for a leak.

Its probably bad practice to assume everything is plugged in correctly if its not working.

Read your PMs

I may be the stupid of the classroom, but mine does the same : starts, revs to CSassist, then dies. I was afraid I've damaged my AFM when, trying to remove it for the first time thinkin myslef knowledgeable enough (how pretentious!), so when unscrewed the AFM's own plug... instead of removing the harness plug... then heard some strange noises, scared me and screwed it back. I've opened it just maybe 2 or 3 milimeters but I think it was not meant to be open at all!
Some can confirm it's hard links inside (so I've broken it) or are there some soft wires so my problem is not from there?
I'll put it appart anyway and check the res with my DMM.
