[VID] Wanna know what just a downpipe sounds like on a TII?

http://www.cdnwfl.com/~brian/videos/openexhaust.wmv (4MB)

I dropped the engine in this morning and had to swap exhausts with the 'vert (had my N1 on it). I had just pulled the 'vert out of the garage and it was time to roll the Turbo back inside to hang the exhaust on it.

This engine is for some reason, very loud with the N1 compared to the last engine. I took it for a shakedown cruise right after this was filmed and a friend said he saw me dumping 4ft flames out the exhaust on about a 10 second burn.

More rad videos coming soon: conecam+pointed towards exhaust+nighttime = good times!

I just drove 40 miles yesterday with just a 3" Rb downpipe on my TII ... it gets almost mind numbing after about 15 minutes.

I'm running a halfass open exhaust on my TII. the DP isn't really connecting to the exhaust in a good manner.. like I can kinda see between the two I'm going to get new bolts/washers/nuts tomarrow and try to fix that..

Probably this evening, Jimmy and I are going to make some conecam runs and get some flames on tape. I just need to figure out where to clip the microphone so it doesn't becoome a crispy critter

BTW, the tall dude in the RX-7.com t-shirt is me . The video doesn't even begin to do the sound justice - it's chest-shaking loud!

It's amazing how much muffling an N1 actually does, BTW - the car was quieted down BIG time. It's still damn loud, but sounds killer!
