Exclamation [HELP]random relay. prior owner of car is pissing me off

hi guys earlier i was taking a look around my car and i noticed a random *** relay and a some wires i can not identify. but it goes into the harness. noted my fuel pump shuts off when i crack the engine over and turns back on when i stop. i can hear it do all that. its a walboro. i hooked it up correctly
i dont know what the previous owner was thinking but this is really making me mad. here are some pictures to help. the relay and wires was found near the fuse box on the driver side. 87 fc NA s4.

The Circuit Opening Relay is Yellow and Black and located to the right of the steering column just under the dash. The Blue wire runs to the pump. By reading the voltage on this wire will tell you if the pump is being fed voltage or not.

You need to illustrate how many wires are running to the non-stock relay and what each wire color is.

Sooo, does your car run? I thought you had this car running.

It is probably for an amp, or a security system.

If you could let us know what the wire colors are and where they are going, that would help us diagnose the problem. It is kinda tough to tell from the picture.

Otherwise, the free downloadable factory manual will tell you everything about the wiring once you learn how to use it.

ill check the circuit open relay when its not so hot outside.

the 2 blue/green seem to be spliced to a single wire which is to a black/ red dot wire the to that random relay then it leads back to a black/ red dot wire back into the harness

the car only starts if i spray carb start. but right now i think i need to adjust timing cuz when i drive it seems misfire a bit. but its slowly getting back to normal. i might need some grounding done.

Dots or hash marks on the wires are somewhat irrelevant as all the factory wiring involves either solid colors or solid colors w/a stripe (dots and hash marks do not constitute a stripe).

At the Circuit Relay the top left wire should have voltage w/key to start thus causing the Blue wire to have power. If this wire has power w/key to start but the Blue wire does not have power then check the solid Black wire, lower left position, for a ground. The top row center position wire has voltage w/key to on/start ,again, causing the Blue wire to be powered.

so i decided to remove the relay and connect the black wires together and wow my car starts up fine now. now im thinking why they did that in the first place. do you think it was because of a flooding issue? hmmmm

That relay you pictured is not a fuel cut switch. Why it was used escapes me for the moment and might escape me til I croak.
