Hey guys, I'm looking for a pic of this. I know Scott89t2 had one but he no longer has pics available.

Does anyone have pics of this, preferably mounted? First hand Impressions for those who have this?

Save your money. RE doesn't make anything that looks good for the RX-7. You can get the same ugly piece off ebay for $30 shipped.

Thanks for the pic! I didn't know you can get It on ebay for that much. I was prepared to buy this for $120 off a member, but I'll pass on that now. Very much appreciated on the heads up.

No prob. That happens to be my car, and as far as the scoop goes, I am a little dissappointed with the fitment of an authentic RE peice.

Is it just me, or do all the hood scoops on T2s look offset to the driver's side?

It's just you.

Break out your pc's manual and read up on recalibrating the axis settings. If the hood scoop looks offset you're probably seeing a lot of things slightly miss-aligned.

All of them. It's just computer monitors the make them off-set...

lol then my bros NA rear view mirror is a computer monitor when i was driving his car and i let him drive my t2

What exactlydoes a hood vent do? Does it pack more in into the hood scoop? I mean it looks like the vent is blocking air INTO the bay. Is it even functional or does it have aerodynamic properties?? Just food for thought.

I would "think" it mores of a v-mount type thing..but then again if you put a V-mount there then..lol..

But yeah, I'd like to know what it's purpose (in that position) is too?

meant for cars with FMICs...the stock hood vent forces air into the engine bay, pressurizing it and raising underhood temps. Now mind you, this is what I have heard.

That's why you cover it...
