this *might* be a stupid question.. jspec swap

i am puttin a jspec longblock into my 88TII and i noticed that my wiring harness on the body of the car comes out of the passenger side and goes into the engine bay, er i think ill go look at it if you all flame me =D.. but anyways i noticed that the longblock has the wiring harness (cut off) coming out of the driver side of the engine, and i was wondering if that was something that was just different and wont be a problem, or if that was something that i need to do some sort of conversion to adapt to... thanks

Considering a jspec rx7 is backwards of ours (as far as driving position), id imagine the ecu is also on the other side of the car compared to ours.

You are correct. Just swap your harness over and you'll be fine.

I am assuming you are using an 89-91 jspec (w/ electric OMP)...

just remove the whole harness off the jspec. use the 88 harness. depending on the production date of your car, you might have to use the 88 injectors. use the search function, the details have been discussed many times. I have a jspec in my 87TII, I mismatched a LOT of parts between the 2 engines. just research it more on this site so you know exactly what you can do.
