can i remove the tps?//

wanted to know if i can completely remove my tps sensor? if so how do i do it?

as far as i know you cant remove it unless you go with a haltek or some other standalone ecu

i ask because i am changing to a 3rd gen intake manifold. how do i go about getting the tps on there?? is there a spot for our type of tps or do i have to do some change over to the 3rd gen tps?

I have driven with mine unplugged. (accidently)
You will get a "check engine".
On the S5, you loose the MOP, which can kill the motor.
It wastes fuel on deceleration, but with nice exhaust flames.

so will it run fine if i remove it? i have a hks afr to control fuel... im looking for a spot on the 3rd gen manifold but i cant seem to find one.

I assumed the S6 had a TPS.

you are pretty screwed unless you go to a standalone system and either try to use the FD TPS with the standalone or make a custom bracket for the one that comes with the standalone.

I haven't seen anyone use the FD manifold with the stock ecu.

the closest would have been soul. but even his ecu was different. I not sure what he used for a TPS.

hmmm so there is nothing i can do to change it. i am going to see if i can get my stock tps on there somehow.

A FD tps sould go onto an FD TB.

yeah use the fd one.the wiring is slightly different but not very hard to figure out. you just have to splice the wires.
