*** First Start up ***

I have a problem...

1st- Early in the morning I would start up my car.. It'll do the normal 3k RPM when u start it then drops down, then seconds later stalls out.. I have to start the car up atleast 3-4 times b4 it'll stay on. or sometimes i have to hit a lil gas n let go for it to stay at 1k rpm. Any one have any idea and how to fix it? and if so have pictures to show how to fix it? Please help!!

2nd- Sumtimes when i am on first, i slowly degrade the clutch and hit the gas.. then it just starts shaking a bit, but sumtimes when i hit the gas more while degrading it goes off smoothly.. Maybe problems with my Flywheel needs to be cut or something?

3rd- Whats a list of a "FULL TUNE UP" and price of it? And what else must I replace to keep a good healthy 7? also, what does everyone think of a flat black 7?

1: mine does this occasionally, just tap the gas when you start up.
2: This sounds normal, just bad clutching at the time
3: I don't have the full list, but oil, oil/air filter, belts, plugs, wires...

1- What does it idle at warm? You could raise the idle some to help, also does it idle fine once warm?

2- You sure it's just not you?

3- pm spooledupracing
he has a tune up kit, the only thing you should need to add to it is some new oil.

1) check your spark plugs. May be fouled.

If you get the Haynes manual it has a full listing of all the tune-up stuffs you will need to do regarding specific mileage.

my car after warmed idles below 1k, about 700 or so, but when goin back to neutral it kinda goes down to like 200 rpm nearly shutting off then goes back to 700. Thanks for all the opinions!

1. Sounds like BAC or AWS or maybe fast idle thermowax related. It would be esier to maybe live with it. It bothers me more that your warm idle is close (should be 750 +-25), but goes down to 200 temporarily after going to neutral.

2. Clutch chatter. Increasing RPM's helps because it smoothens the vibrations somewhat. Ask me how I know. Could be flywheel wasn't machined smooth after clutch replacement (not always necessary, but if need be you can shave a very little bit), bad engine or tranny mounts, bad pilot bearing or input shaft bearing (my case!)

3. See FSM.
