*** 86 RX-7 Best Suspension Setup ***
Right now, I'm looking around to purchase a Front Sway bar, Anyone know a good website that sells them cheap? also, if adding a front sway bar, is a rear one required?
is your car understeering or oversteering? you don't NEED to add these parts just because every tom dick and harry civic owner has them...if you don't like the way the car handles then stiffen it accordingly.
Adding just the front will enduce more understeer. Is that what your desired objective is?

Dead-eye hit it right on.
Our cars handle pretty damn well from the factory. It's gonna take a professional, or at least very experienced driver to be able to really push an FC to the limits of what it can do. If you've found that limit, and want the car to understeer or oversteer more, don't worry about it.

I'm running Tokico HP struts with Eibach springs and Eibach sways. The springs are a little stiffer than stock but they're a good compromise between performance and comfort. I went to DGRR in 2006 and my car felt like a BUS going around the corners... there was a rediculous amount of body roll. I went again this year after the upgrade and the car performed MUCH better.
The AFM is going to severely limit your choice as far as intakes go... you can get and adapter and slap a cone filter on it but, that's about it unless you have an ECM.
plugs, wires, coolant hoses, vacuum lines, Mazda brand thermostat, change all the fluids .have the fuel injectors cleaned, thats a decent start, after that you just need to start finding things that are worn out and replace them,
you'll probably find it alot easier to just search for things rather than asking, this forum has been here awhile and pretty much anything you think of has already been discussed at one point or another.
don't waste you time with any sort of intake mods right now they really don't help at all. porting on our motors is quite different and requires a large budget.

Thanks alot for all your suggestions! Makes it easier for me to decide what i wanna do first, anymore suggestions please come through.. I've fallen inlove w/my fc and want to keep it as healthy as possible, 86 with 114k miles.
That said, maintain it. Maintain it. Maintain it.
Read, read, read........then ask questions.....

Read EVERYTHING on all those links then ask questions because 9 times out of 10 your questions have already been asked and answered and one of those links will have what you need.
Also helpful is the FSM found here>> http://www.wankel.net/~krwright/cars/rx7/manuals.html
I can not stress enough the importance of reading all this information because it will only help you and your 7 in the long run. Plus it will keep you from being flamed for asking newbie questions or told to search..........

Thanks kronic, does links did helped me alot lol... atleast at questions i had about what was happenign with my car, but everything that everyone has said.. is what im gonna do.. MAINTAIN MY CAR.. 114k miles and on.. Thanks!
P.S. As an added note don't be so quick to believe everything you read on these forums because over half of these people have no clue about what they are talking about. Off the top of my head ReTed and RotaryResurrection seem to know what they are talking about because they actually have (sucessful) experience with more than one car. There are others as well, but these two guys come to mind quickly when I actually want a real answer that I can't answer myself by reading a little bit.......Also, don't ask them stupid questions that you haven't tried to find the answer to yourself or they will cut you off because I'm sure they get stupid questions regularly.....
With that said, enjoy your 7 and welcome to the family!
