When I see my old '61 MGA going for $16,000, I know my stock 91 vert will be worth a lot of money some day.
That's what I tell my wife....

Keep on ripping the **** out of your 7 and add all the mods you can...it increases the value of our stockers.

Damn nice car but wouldn't pay that much for it though...also I don't believe that the car only has 25k mile on it.

But nice interior...do u want to sell the interior?

Nice car but $10K USD Is an absoloute rip off! A normal, stock FC with over 90K miles on it goes for $9,000-$11,000 AUSD!

Not to **** you off or anything, but my TII's interior is very much like this one. Almost perfect...

But 12,5K ? That sounds like a "greek" price, not a "US" price ....and even then, its still a bit expensive

Anyway you look at it, its still a mass-produced mid-80's Japanese sports car. And the fact that they 'ONLY' made 1500 of them is ridiculous. How many 'regular' 1988 turbos did they make? Probably not a whole lot. Car's not rare enough, and no nostalgia value outside of the few rotorheads who have a clue as to what a '10th AE' is. And, when it comes down to it, its just an appearance package, anyway...

It not about not having money, its about not having any common sense. He'll sell the car to someone with more money than sense who thinks that some day this will be a collector's car...

You guys are rediculous. He can ask that much because there is nowhere else you can buy a AE with 25k miles. It's not like you can go pick up an auto trader and call 5 guys within 50 miles that have a 25K AE forsale. Bitch about how much money he wants for it? It's a collectors Item more than it is a car that you will drive. I normally stay out of these "look how much he wants for this" threads, but..... when is the next time you will see this kind of car for sale?

If I was him I would be asking the same thing.

Good point. These cars are worth as much as someone is willing to pay. Notice the "one" (only one person is going to buy a particular car). You can find a TII for $2500 somewhere in perfect shape and right down the road find one in better shape for $2000. People sell these cars in all kinds of shapes for all different prices. If I won the lottery I'd buy that car.

Ha hahaha..I'd love to see a *perfect* FC for 2000-2500. Again, you pay for what you get.

You know what I mean. But I paid $1400 for mine and only needed a radiator and water pump. Interior, almost perfect, exterior same.

If the miles & condition are as shown, it's worth it.

miles and condition aren't hard to believe...I've seen some Z's that have come through the shop that are very rare and had less miles than this AE...one was an '80 280ZX w/ 2 tone black/gold paint with 8,000 original miles!! This was last year mind you...next is a car my mechanic owns, '77 280Z with just over 7,000 original miles cept for the front spoiler we put on and sprayed. As far as the $$ goes, it depends on how much $$ you have...in a sense 12.5 for this condition car could be a bargain if you have a lotta ( and I mean a lot) of cash since this is a very rare low mile collectible. It's only a waste of money to the buyer who isn'y satisfied with what he paid for

All of you guys must be smoking crack! While the 10th AE isn't as rare as a GTUs, it is a classic car! My insurance company values my car at $13k and I wouldn't even sell it for that price..

Get the cars appraised and you'll see what their real value is.

I'd rather have a clean AE like that than an FD.... But I don't think it is worth 12,500... prolly more in the 8-9k range.
