Please tell me this is a joke. You could get an FD for that price...

25000 miles! That's why it's so expensive.

If it were a kouki FC, I'd buy it right away. You can't be too cheap about it, who cares if you can buy a POS FD for that cheap, you're getting a mint FC.

WHy would you buy it, when the engine can blow up on the way home. Mileage is not as big of a factor as age, with a rotary. This specimen is just as old as all the other ones. I would much rather find one for 3-4k and plan to repalce the engine...have it done right the way you want.

i argee, most of the low mileage cars have problems, gee that car hasn't even been to its first service, i wonder if the coolant is 15 years old? plus it doesn't have the stock wheels or shift ****/boot

The thing is I payed $1850 for my 10 AE (body & inside are PERFECT, except the seats) .. with a blown rear apex. I now have a brand new rebuilt motor & Turbo/W upgrade and all the mods listed below. I will have new paint (as opposed to 15 year old paint) and brand new leather seats when i am done .. and still have less than 10k into it.

POS FD?? why is everybody here against the FD? its better way better and more updated than any FC... whether it be acceleration, braking, handling , top speed.. and all.. i dont mean to flame.. but go look at the book value at a used t2 ae and a 95 FD... besides.. the fc leaves off where the fd keeps on goin...then again some people are fc fanatics

No, I meant it wouldn't be a great one, torn up interior, bad paint, etc.

I'm in no way against the FD, I've had one.

Only thing I don't like about the FD is they are small and uncomfortable .. I am 6' 4" and I could not drive over 150 miles in one of those things ... while my FC has plenty of leg room. Otherwise I think they are great. And .. I think they are alot harder to work on than a FC ..

That's only 3 x Blue Book - what a deal! LOL

In the seller's defense, though, some moron will probably pay that much. Geez, look at all the idiots who fall for the Nigerian money drop scam every year.

That car is amazing the interior looks like it was never sat in. He must have kept that car in a bubble. But still over priced.
If I was him I would hold on to that car it will gain price value over the long years.

There was an AE in Orlando at a buy here pay here lot and they were asking $10,000. It was more than a VR4, GSX eclipse, 300zx TT, and alot of other cars.

Yep. I'd rent a storage space and prep it for a long long sit. In 15 years, could you imagine the price of it? But I'd have to go get some stock AE rims.

is a 10ae for $2500 a good price has about 110,000 miles, intake, full exhaust system from the engine, blow off valve, and he says it needs a engine and the only way it will start is if you push start it and won't hold a idle.he said he checked the compresion but he said that the top hole was good and bottom was bad so i was like wtf,and it was sitting for a long time because he said it did not pass smog and did not want to drive it and do you think that the auto transmisson fluid trick will work

I got my 10AE for 10k 3 years ago with 18,000 miles on it. Still had the original rear washer fluid. The owner sometimes only pulled it out to change fluids. The car is perfect. What you guys have to look at is condition. With a car that old and that few miles blue book doesn't even come into play. In this case and mine, I looked at it as paying 10k for a $25,000 car. The problem is that most of the FC crowd consists of younger people that don't have a crap load of money. Personally, I like the 2nd gen more then the 3rd. Yeah the 3rd looks nice, but eh, not for me.

If it were me, I wouldn't pay more then 9500-10k for it.

Depends on where you live, I suppose, here, that'll get you a FD with a salvage title.

16k + will get you a decent one here.

A nice TurboII (89+) will be at least 5k.

Popularity tax in California.
