motor prices are good, sometimes bad. It annoys me when i see people selling Turbo II S4's for 750.00 non running, anything could be bad, the housings could be junk!
=/ Lower motor prices ftw please =)

what's with the influx of newbie flamers lately?
you guys do realize it is annoying having tons of threads bumped meaninglessly every few minutes when the info is easily found with a little research?
personally i hate repeating myself, sometimes i don't mind but alot of the time i feel like pulling my hair out answering simple questions that are easily found with a little effort.

doesn't really matter.......it's not TOO technical of a thread..........this seems more like a lounge question........but meh.....BTW these posts don't count.....once the MODS move/delete this thread all the posts get subtracted from the count......I dunno if it's done manually by them though.

You kids just need to be a little nicer, cut out all of the superior attitude. Remember, you were a noob once yourself.....You should use your knowledge to help people, not sit here and criticize people for being new to the rotary scene and yell at them for not using the search feature.
Yes, it helps to use the search feature, but you don't always find what you are looking for, so we then come and ask a question to the rotary junkies. Try doing a search for "electric fan" and see what you get.
Maybe you should right a FAQ guide about looking for used motors, what is a good price for each version. Put that knowledge and college education to work for us NOOBS.
Sound like a plan Madrx7racer? Make a proud....
proud
T-Dub, I apologize for hijacking your thread. My suggestion would be to find another motor and send it off to Rotary Resurrestion for a complete rebuild so you know what you are getting instead of "I think it was rebuilt, but I'm not sure" kinda deal.

No to the autozone motor, they are just getting a junkyard motor and charging twice as much, i say call around local junk yard see if u can find one, they will have a 30-90day waranty on it so u must get it in quick and make sure it runs right or see if can find one on here!!fyi last used junk yard motor i got i payed 300,00 for and its still running, but u always take a chance with a junk yard and if u are paying some one to put it in that could turn around and bite u, so if u are doing labor ur self junkyard used what ever if u are paying for labor get a reman mazda,,kevin landers what ever!!fyi at 60 an hour labor guide says,, u looking at 618.00-684.00 in labor w/parts transfer(just short block) or 378.00-444.00 w/o parts transfer(complete engine)!
good luck
