you can polish a turd...
but its still a turd
my FC. Just installed new Ksport coilovers and 5zigen FNo1RC's. they're 17x8 front and 17x10 rear. Still working on getting the right stance and a good alignment setup. Think I want it about a 1/2" lower and more camber in the front. Other suspension mods are Suspension Tecnique sway bars with Mazdatrix adj. endlinks and Fighters Garage rear camber link.

havent done any events or really even any hard driving on them, but they seem pretty solid. They are pretty stiff, but well damped. Quality on the units is pretty awesome. Install was a breeze. The exception being that when I went to install the bottoms on the rear, I had to hammer them on cause the rubber piece they used isnt quite the right size, but it went on without too much hassle...but getting them back off is gonna be a PITA. Worth the money...so far I'd say so.

17x8's in front are a pretty good fit under stock fenders. The 17x9 would poke out and thats definitely not what I'm after. I did think about getting some wider fenders this winter when I may start doing bodywork, but thats still debatable. I like the fitment. Next set of tires is probably gonna be a 40 in the front instead of a 45. The way the 245/40 in the rear stretches a lil bit makes the sidewall appear smaller, so the front looks a lil taller in comparison. I dont want to go to a smaller contact patch in the front, so that should accomplish what Im going for. Need to get some more alignment work done in the front, needs more camber. I like how the zero toe drives though. Fronts rubbed for the first time today, but like I said, needs more camber and that should cure that problem.
as far as "no centercaps" go.....the centercaps look hella better than nasty looking dustcaps, lol.
