okay its an 80s or 90s movie about a highschool kid who street races a older muscle car like a carmaro or somthing and theres a girl at the highschool who needs to raise money so they partner up and she fronts him the money for street races. untill one day he loses a big race..so they get in deep and somehow hes car gets destroyed or somthing...so his teacher or principal lets him in on a secrete and has a old car hidden under the highschool football field that he lets him use for the last race.
and he races across the town on a time trial run/..

Only thing I could find on Google about a highschool kid who races, and a girl who's trying to raise money for highschool. Didn't read anything about a hidden car yet, I guess its a spoiler.

 

Yeah its Catch me if you can. I found out more on the movie, the principle who was a legendary racer has a car hidden in the school, since the school is located where his home used to be.
