Looks pretty good for the price. What are you planning to do with it?

TX

WELL,
at the moment, I am replacing the oil cooler lines with new ones since the previous person who worked on the car.. (this is the scary part...) spliced one of the cooling lines back together with a plastic tube.... ... SO, after I get that done, then I will be swapping out a bad sensor and then I will be starting on that hideous red fender... I am going to take the fender from my white 86 and paint it and slap it on the vert. I am going to swap the front bumper as well since the vert's bumper is all tore to hell. THEN I will replace the rear bumper where it got a small parking lot boo-boo on it. THEN, am swapping out the seats with the 86 sport because the rails are broken on the driver's side in the vert. THEN, taking all the wheels off and swapping wth the 86 sport wheels because I absolutly HATE not having 4 matching wheels. While I do that I will be replacing the discs and brake pads since I will have the wheels off. I mean, why do it twice?? THEN, I will be putting the stereo from the 86 into the vert (aftermarket Sony) so i will have some kinda tunes until I get the vert seats repaired and re-upholstered.
Thats my short term goals for the car.
LONG TERM GOALS:
Turbo swap, standalone ECU, upgraded suspension, 1" lowering springs, New wheels, New carpet, and some new gauges. Not to mention that I want to repaint the whole car. SO.... I will have some work ahead of me and oh yeah, If you don't mind, can someone tell the new vert owner exactly HOW to put the top down?? I can figure it out but I dont want to screw up and hurt that brand new top. THANKS in advance!

sounds like you have your work cut out for you in the short term, and a good plan set-up for the long term.
As for the top, make sure your ebrake is on, then release the two latches on the drivers and passenger side top where it latches to the windshield. Then hit the convertible top button back, it will lower then you can either take the targa top off all together and store it in the truck or just fold it down.
Enjoy the new vert and keep us posted with your progress.
