Women? or Rx7?
fortunately my girlfriends main hobby is old BMWs. she has been a a race instructor(buttonwillow/streets of willowsprings...).
she is currently building an 85 635csi...
however, this poses a new set of problems and threats..
1) battle for garage time
we have a 2 car garage, and it is not sufficient if both of us wanna tear down engines at the same time, only having one hoist/etc. finally got a big enough compressor to run 2 sets of air tools
2) cant go to the track together(and both drive)
don't have a CDL license or a trailer to haul 2 cars and all the spares and crap.
3) obviously household auto budgeting is a concern...
4) i sometimes find my garage beer fridge empty!!!
5) the continual neighborhood hassles surround having what could constitute a use car lot on my property. in total we have 13 vehicles at the house including the the bikes. this includes some donor carcasses, so don't get too jealous... one of them is starting to grow plants out of it...(luckily its a chevy!

6) this is embarrassing to say... she could out drive me in a school bus.
7)sometimes there are heated arguments, that get a little too emotional, about things like tire choice/etc.
i guess you win some, you lose some.
all and all i think its an advantage over living with a woman who doesn't get it

Being a female and all, id say both. You just have to find a girl that loves your car as much as you.. Hard to find yes. But she's out there!! I spent mostly all my free time with my ex and his baby(91 fc) thats probably why im looking to buy my own really soon. I absolutly loved that car. My garage looked like his, as if we were married. Both of our bedrooms had car PARTS in them. AND I LOVED IT! lol! so id say if u cant find a women that love ur car and you.. **** HER! lol

My wife gives me flack about the amount of money I spend on the car, but for the most part doesn't give me too much flack about the time I spend on it. She figures it could be worse, I could have a bike.

i guess im lucky. cuz she jumps in the car with no problem no matter how it looks and everytime she sees another car weather it be a boosted honda or a ls1 camaro she always always says "show em babe. its all about rotary, them other cars aint ****" makes me laff, but i got a keeper. win or lose she keeps talkin **** bout the other car lmao i love it. now i got a vert its hard for her not to talk about it lol

on and off for 4 1/2 years my my gf kept leaving me over my fc,but i loved her so she would come back but over the 4 1/2 year spand she left like 3 or 4 times because of my rx7...im single now but still have the fc lol.(we finaly realized as long as i own my fc we can never b together,she has a new bf who is not into cars now.but she misses the lifestyle so shes always hanging out with us guys going to car meets and everything.she drives a 2tone black and purple 86 300zx) im looking for one of those car girls who's not into hondas or mustangs....i'll find her eventualy.i hear this hot blond driving a gtu around town,still havnt met her yet but im keepiong my eyes open.(not realy into blonds though) gf,rx7?gf,rx7?gf,rx7? rx7 everytime.

The lifestyle is so fun. I miss it all the time thats why ive decided to buy my own 7 and im sure ill have more fun working on my car than i ever did working on his and when i have my own to show off the car meets will be better. lol. good luck on that search!!

My girlfriend has been with me since i got my Rx7, in fact i got the car around the same time we got together.
It's been a hassle i'll admit and there have been times where the car has ruined plans, weekends, moods, and has over all screwed me over at the wrong time...
...but shes stuck through it with me and is recently helping me with my 5-speed swap
