Yup. Cut them alot, recrease them to form new seam, reweld them then por15 the jesusballs out of them.

Not as bad as it sounds. I had to walk up to the car and put a foot or so long cut with the sawzall to commit myself. The rest kinda falls in place.

You will be fine.

thanks for the compliment.

start a thread and post pictures in it. Or pm me them.

Thanks.

I am starting to see what you guys mean about the fd "light height".

They just looked cross eyed when i was in my mocking phase. Also, the lights looked like they would shine at a 70 degree angle, ultimately blinding helicoptors.

my unemploydedness prompted me to cut the widebody, weld bolts to the wing and drill holes in the decklid area. Wing is on.

I will post pictures tomorrow.

Ghettobooth materials almost fully aquired.

Gonna paint this bitch soon.

U P D A T E S........ sort of. wing is fit, still need suspension though (last picture proves it).

Tell me what you think. Dont pull any punches....but just explain why.

I sanded the paint off of the edge where the wing and widebody meet, so the transition looks a little more harsh than it actually is. It should look a lot better when its all the same color.....hopefully.

Any body have any tokico hp?

(for those who dont know, these are emitz http://www.wheelsdatabase.com/upload...s/emitz_84.jpg

should be cool tho, they seem like super rare wheels though.. seems like they would be great to depict what a japanese lowrider might look like. hahah

When I was younger I had an integra, the first thing to get it lower was to get 50-series tires on 14" rims, then I got ebay coils and lowered the car another 3-4 inches, **** was baller low, rims were crappy tho lol.
BUT!!
Pulling out of a parking lot my transmission touched asphalt and the speedo sensor was found hanging against the header lol.
The moral??

You have a nice *** car man, your build has honestly helped me learn more about my car. You don't have to go hella low, just ride homie.

If this were my car I would try to do something aobut these gaps. Maybe mold them, if not deffinately sand down the glass so that they sit more flush...

Looking good though...

^^^^^^Huge fan of the elise. Good advice, i agree fully regarding the lines that the huge red arrows point too . My issue is that i set the car up for daily driving. I think the only thing worse than the existing lines is a price chopper cart or ******* leaning against my car stress cracking it while i am inside, after putting tons of time into molding the wing. Then if i mold the wing the widebody kit will have to be molded and the body kit. The car will then become undrivable and i will have 2 undrivable vehicles. The miata is my trophy winning show car. This is a driver. I cant lose sight of that.

I do see what you are saying though and agree with the necessity to clean it up. I plan on taking your advice when i am prepping for paint to get an even contour. Once i have 3m holding everything tight on the body, and have 1 color back there (dealing with 4 whites) , i think things should be a lot neater.

I will call my buddy about the glass roof later.

Your best bet is start a build thread. So people can post and help you out. This thing has been pretty helpful for me.

^^^^^Thanks a lot DKWASHEREXD. Suspension will definately come after paint.

I have had quite a few pms about the miata, and decided to post some pics with the rx7 i took today.

These are the last pictures of the "cracker ***" rx7.

I will post shots of prep and color next (unless i wreck it then those will be next).

My jobless *** has no excuse to not paint this bitch.

Enjoy......

The rx7 is a small car compared to my friends supras, mustangs and classics......but its funny how big the miata makes it look
