Wide body vert progress pics

Well i finally moved and got tired of looking at my vert in badly need of body work, paint, new clutch and just a needed to be totally revampd...

Here is vert with bn sports knock off kit on.. Removed all molding and started fixing dents on hood, test fit with stock s5 bumper with bn sports cut off just the lower section, ya it looked like *** so i sourced me a wings west front half bumper and made some copies of my buddies wide body front fenders, these fenders are 4 inches wider than stock no joke!

Finally got the s4 na engine out so i can just toss new exedy clutch kit, pilot bearring, tob, remove rats nest, install block plates, sleeve with pineapple 6 port inserts.

Only cleaned the passenger side bay (took forever) just so you cud see how dirty the bay actually was..

With this kit i had to scrap the entire bn sports kit cuz the fenders and quarter panels are made to line up with stock na fc body and bumpers.... Well i could of made em work with the kit but it wud of been way too much work. and i do intend to selll this fc wen its all done....

Test fit the p side rear quarter panel on.. They will be molded onto the stock na side skirts for a clean look. As you can see how much it sticks out towards the back.

Here is a shot of the rear, you can see how wide these dam things actually are...

Shot of the trunk a work in progress... Almost done fixing the dents

3hrs of degreasing and litterally cleaning the grime off with a bristle brush and sanding , masking then painting, then baked the paint on there with heat lanps...

I dont know what brand they are because me and my buddy found a local guy selling them from his parts car, my friend bought the fronts and i bought the rears.

Had to chizel the rears off the car because they were all ready molded on the car and side skirts... Thats why if you look close they are serverly fukerized!

They are seriously about 4 inches wider than stock!

Im balling on a budget with this build.. I went all out on my fc coupe but dont plan to spend much on this vert. Its gonna stay na.

Im going with s5 stock rear bumper,s5 front bumper with wings west front half bumper and s5 moldings all around. Not gna shave moldings cuz it takes too dam long to sand ect...

Quarter panels gna b molded to the car and thats it.. gna look sexy! Plus since im going with stock body and no body kit im gna be able to slam it!

Since i do all of my own work and dont pay to have a shop do it ,my vert should be done and ready for candy paint in 2 weeks! Ive seen some builds done by shops that take 8 months plus and still arent even done yet LOL.

My coupe took me and a friend about 7 months and it started out as a 4lug base model. Now its a full streetported t2 with v mount and all the supporting mods ect.. (too many to list)

****... i even made duplicates of my buddies fenders for crying out loud.... Thats mad skills yo....lol

I plan to sell the wide body vert thats why im staying na. If i was gna keep it id go t2 for sure.... I still have big red to finish and sell after the vert....
