Two different flange styles.
It depends on where you got your replacement compressor and who put the A/C on your car originally.
Many of the 1980's Mazdas didn't come from the factory with A/C, they had it added later on at the dealer or aftermarket... Different people sued different parts.
Suggest getting the lines form the donor car or looking at a few other RX-7s for a proper compressor. It may be as simple as changing the fittings on the hoses.

top one is nippon denso, bottom one is series 5 Sanden( as it clearly shows on the lable)
There is one other type and thats a single hose sanden instead of the two peice hose type show above.
The FSM lists them as factory installed a/c, or dealer option installed.
