i know a way to get my slight amount of clearance inside the light and eliminate the glass lens.
Going to have my plastic guy do it tomorrow

you using plastic or glass? with plastic I bet I can put a small bubble in the lens for clearance and eliminate a spacer but I think it will look goofy
I am using a plastic lens, bubble lens looks out of place if you can make the whole lens taller it would look much better i tried to make a new one with my oven and some acrylic but it didn't work out too well.

my plastic guy can make anything, I already have a simple low cost design in mind, it would look like stock.
They tell me they can be 2mm away from the cover, no worry about the heat.

ive been super busy at work, this was put on the back burner- but here are my totally clear housings, the shroud is just sitting in there not fitted yet.

I think they look pretty good, no lines and no glass to distort the lighting

I finally got mine all finished up, used the glass lenses. I think some of my rotation might be off a bit but I'm happy for the most part.
