NH What is my 87 TII worth?

Recently purchased a 87 TII as an impulse buy when i saw it for sale. Haven't seen one in this nice condition in 15 yrs. I had a vert a few years ago and when I saw this, I couldn't resist and thought I wanted back into the rotary scene. After having it for a couple of months, decided that I don' thave the time to truely enjoy this car.

Anyway - I wanted to check in with the experts here and see what you all thought I should ask for this car. I want to make sure that it I get close to what it's real value is (what somebody is willing to pay for it).

Some details:

Purchased from the original owner. Always garaged and dealer maintained.

42K miles on original motor.

All original. No Mods what-so-ever, only maintainence stuff done (new tires, brakes, etc).

Original red paint in amazing condition. Everything works except for the clock (goes in and out) and logicon heat slider will be tempermental over bumps. already fixed the solder issue with the horn/CPU.

thanks for your input!

A bone stock FC is nigh impossible to find. A turbo, even harder. And low miles like that? Dang!

I could pay $6500 - $7000 for it.

Id say realistically 4-5 to the general public. To enthusiasts and collectors, and tuners they would price those guys at a higher price considering they are an entirely different market. So roughly 6.

If you can put that car in that same condition in a good storage for another decade im sure that the worth of the car will double, or almost double.

I'd say around $5k, give or take a few 100.

Beautiful car, btw, even if the wheels are on wrong .

Ask $5500, don't take less than $5000.

Thanks everybody for the input. I really appreciate it.

I did get a good chuckle out of Need_rx7 - who knew they were directional! ha ha ha Now I'll fix 'em.

Beefhole - when you're ready to buy, let me know. I'd sell it to you for 6.5 whenever you're ready!
