This is a factory Ford paint scheme. Is this where you got the inspiration?

I think it actually looks pretty cool on the 7. Very period specific.

i say paint it who knows with the right set of wheels it would look unique . Thats of course if you are trying to get a retro old school look.

Now if you want the new school flashy wheels with that paint scheme then it will look a bit weird.

Try that same paint scheme and some deep dish meshies or some watanabes

Hmmm, I didn't know of that factory paint scheme, as I don't live in the US and down here in Costa Rica there are not many Fords (or RX7s) of those years. I thinks it looks good... But as someone said: I have to make the decision of keeping it all white, with a more modern look, or go retro with this paint scheme, that doesn't look bad but may give it an older look...

Would look like a lebaron almost....

I dunno. It's your car. Maybe try it with vinyl first and see how that works out?

There's going to be some hate on the vinyl but i swear the more i see it the more i like it. No buffing, no waxing, if it gets scratched, no biggie. Alot of my friends are retarded and like leaning on my **** wearing studded belts and stray cats claw the **** out of my jawn. I swear to god though, one of the males and some of the stray dogs are going to get it. My brother just bought a paintball gun and i'd love to shoot it.

Good idea... may be I can dress it with vinyl and see how it gets... Anyway I have no money right now so all of this paint scheme stuff is for some other time... First things first...

For now I'll try to polish and wax it to get some shine and get rid of the little scratches...

Thanks everyone for your participation. I'll post pictures if I get it done some time.
