I mounted mine upside down just to see how it would look. Doesn't look good IMO because the edges of the lip don't line up with the wheel well. Tried mounting it farther back so the edges would line up but that just made the front look corny.

Plus it made the car look kind of like a freight train. See shitty cell phone pics.

yeah im with 87tii i just got the lip the other day at a pick n pull but wanna see it upside down to see if it looks dope cant really tell holding it up myself

how did you guys managed to put it. i pulled the 740 lip from the junkyard today and it look like i have to heat it and stetch to fit the end.

re jack. just was going through old post. well its a year later and i dont think its a fad, it just looks too good. the wheels are not getting any smaller.

looks good. i guess it all depends whether i find an s5 or s4 bumper locally. the current one is dented pretty bad

 

Looks good, a lot of 88-91 Civic guys do this as well.

 

just thought id share, i like it a lot more then the 626 lip. just worried it will be too low once i get my coil overs and get the gap in my wheel wells i want.

 

you can never really go too low. too low is when the wheels rub on the wheel wells when your driving normally

 

When your bumper and lip look like this after 1 month of daily driving, you might be too low:



But **** it I still ride dirty. On my 2nd bumper and volvo lip now.

 

thats it? go lower. you just have to know how to drive and plan trips out

haha I try to plan stuff out but all the city streets here are pretty hammered and not friendly to my bumper. If you ever start daily driving your car your bumper will look like my old one did in no time.

 

well with about 5 days of having my coil-overs on my lip is already broken... joy.
