VIN door decal

VIN door decal
My FC never came with a full VIN door jamb decal. I guess its been scratched up and lost along the years. Is there anyway I can order a new one? I've searched google and found a few places needing a picture of the entire thing but as I stated earlier I don't have much left to take a picture of. I just want my info readily there instead of having to answer smog questions to a tech when needed.

short answer is no.
long answer is that you used to be able to order blank ones.
reproductions are a little tricky, because it is a legal document.

Just to make certain, are you referring to the FMVSS decal? This is the one with your VIN number, tire sizes, Gross Vehicle Weight, etc.
If so, here is one source for them: Replacement VIN Sticker, VIN Labels, Tire Pressure Label | Auto Data
But since yours is basically gone, this is a sticky situation due to the legality involving VIN numbers. I thought I was in a similar situation when my door was jammed shut, so I started hunting for a clear picture of one. Lacking that, I got the door open and snapped a couple pics of mine.
If it could be proven via the dash vin plate, I think it might be acceptable for another member to get a pic of theirs (same year & trim) and blank out their VIN for use as a template. The label seller might want to see the car in person to verify everything is legit before making you a new FMVSS label though.

on the FC there are two labels, there is the tire sticker, which gives info about the tire size and inflation, and then the sticker with the VIN is separate.
the tire one is NLA, but since it just lists the model number, and tire sizes, duplicating it is completely fine. later model cars, have the vin and model specs on this sticker too
the vin sticker isn't listed as a part for the FC! (the FB did)
pic is from the 1986-88 US parts catalog
