Talking update on s5 turbo swap!!! (pics)

thought id share some pics of the progress on my turbo swap. i have most everything done. i am waiting on the new turbo manifold because of some fitment problems with this one and need to finish hooking up a couple more things. what do you guys think?

raceonusa.com 30mm vented. the fitment was shitty but i like the way they look.

ic i got the same fenders too.. yah fitment was all over the place..
but they look awesome

they are a copy of some japanese fender im sure

it's be interesting to see the cooling efficiency of an ebay intercooler...

should be better because of placement and surface area, but would be great to see some numbers.

it has already been turned into a paper weight. haha

^it is a garret, and im not sure what model the turbo is, i cant find it in any of there catalog's

didnt realize ur rocking a ebay fmic kit.. dam i wanna see how it works out for u. =D
Love how tiny your engine looks.. i want a fmic soo bad now, plus id love to rock a NA hood on a turbo fc =would be kinda cool.
esp when you get pulled over by police and they pop your hood, have them be like "dam i dont see anything in here, just a small *** motor"


and yah, ive spent like $800 on a HKS Type S FMIC for my old 240sx back in 03 before ebay intercoolers ever really became availible.

You do realize that you want your oil feed directly on top. I think itll be better for the life of your turbo if you were to rotate your center cartilage a little more clockwise. Also, your oil drain hose is gonna have to be a little longer.
