under the hood parts paint update and photo shoot on local garage
you should have left it alone, looks like you actually took some time to clean the engine bay, then its ruined with that Pan Am blue paint.
Spraying silicone dressing on the motor would have a much better effect, or maybe a color that actually blends and compliments instead of looking like they came out of a totally different car in a junkyard.
You dont need gawdy "different" paint, you need paint that complements things, the paint on the truck engine actually looks better then your random blue job.
when my car was NA it was given much love and showed well for being stock. Of course now its even better turbo'ed, in the process of changing some things in the engine bay right now actually.

may not be to your taste? its a clean stock engine bay.........did you insert the right picture?
Yo, nsomnia_redline, the color of choice was a bit bold, and doesn't sit well with the rest of the engine bay. There is not enough contrast in your scheme.
Id recommend going for a darker shade of blue and clean up the metal parts as they look like they have lots of oxidation on them. I really don't know if you were serious with painting some random stuff but id say try again or keep working on it till its more appeasing to the eyes.

I second the baby-fail.
