Ok so I have been thinking a lot and I want a FB I am wanting to trade the vert for a nice straight FB... Talk me out of the stupidness guys

 

Doesn't sound like a bad idea to me. If you want an FB, then go for it. Besides, verts are boring anyway (kidding).

 

If I had a chance I would go back to my old s4 13b swapped FB was alot of fun visually not as many features but overall an amazing car. I would say if you can find a strait one try it out only downside is price difference between them so find a great one

That is what I want haha nice green Fb with your mirrors on the fenders yes thats what I want a true sleeper.

Plan for the Fb is a Street Ported 6 port Rene or just to make it EZ just a stock normal Rene.

All I have to do is get rid of the CAN system. So... ditch the stock ECU and run an aftermkt one, then make my own engine mounts, wire the ECU, cooling system, bigger fuel pump, swap out the fuel system for a better return system. All in all it would not cost more then 4k (after the cost of the motor) I think this would be awesome! A 230- 270hp N/A Fb... I just cant see my self needing much more then that.

Yet I want to keep the Vert... she is my first car you know? I just dont think I like the Fc as much as I once did... its sad

Yours is not that bad looking at all, your skirts are not my thing but hey at least it look like you have a good top on her. I have a bad top and a few missing interior bits and the windows will not go down. That's all that's wrong with it, other then that good old 20year old shot electric that is shorting out on me and killing the battery at stop lights... but that's getting fixed sometime this week or next, when ever I get a sunny day.

I live in the PNW... lot and lot of rain. I went to les Swap to get my wheels balanced and it was raining like a mother F***** and the guy walks in and ask

Me "Hell no! Dude my windows work this is awe... oh **** its raining like all hell... (grumbling under my breath back to my seat) stupid f****** stupid windows working I hate that stupid F***** car"
Guy "A... what do you want me to do about the widow?"
Me "Get it up or I wait till the F****** rain stops... Just keep the stupid thing inside!"

Wost day ever... I got stuck there for like 7hr's till the rain stoped. No joke a full 7hrs. But Seneca Wallace did come in and I got to talk to him for a hr haha so it was not a complete loss haha

OP: My FB has a 4port 13b, a header, a stock nikki and is damn near as fast as my TII. Also, kentetsu here on the forum always hands me my *** at my autocrosses in his mildly modded FB. That said, I find my TII to be a much more comfortable dd and on a bigger track where I can get into my turbo I think I could give his FB a run for it's money. It really comes down to your personal preference and what you want to do with each car.

 

You sure it's not a bad window regulator, or a bad window switch? That's only a $60 fix.

 

Its a bad window regulator, I got newer switches and got nothing from them so it has to be the regulator's. I just dont have the cash now to get some that work... its slowy killing me haha I want my top and window down at the sametime Someday i am going to get it fixed... or just swap for a Fb... a even older car that will probly have even more problems... god I hate the awesome 20 + year old cars we love haha

 

Get the FB! I love my FC, but I had a 85' GSL-SE before, its just so much funner to drive, it has more character, and IMO looks better, and not like a 944 rip off.
