So I have stumbled across this add on craigslist. My main question is if the car is a good deal for the asking price. I am not too familiar with these cars and their pricing. Based on my research it seems like a good deal. What do you think this car is worth?

He says the car is in excellent condition and needs nothing. He says he has receipts for everything. No expenses spared build. He also said he had it shipped (im assuming just the motor) to Japan to have RE Amemiya build the motor and paid 10k for that.

What do you guys think. Im sure a lot of you are experts in this area. Would love to know what you are thinking.

Any modified car is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it...period. I doubt any dealer would offer much over Blue Book for a car no matter what Japanese tuner they've never heard of has touched it.

I say if you want it, just offer what you think it's worth.

Also, if it has an E6K, then why is there a PFC commander in the pictures?

 

I would ask who tuned it and speak with them, I would also caution you not to purchase this car unless someone else looks at it

that kind of HP in a car this light is a serious thing please be careful you do not end up killing yourself- remember these cars have ZERO nannies besides your own restraint. NO stability or traction control no ABS, etc

 

I find it hard to believe this thing makes that much power.

Are we completely missing the fact that that is an s4 turbo motor and not and FD motor? Obvious troll is obvious.

 

something is wrong!

the car in the pics looks pretty nice actually, and it was fine until i looked at the parts list, and either those are old pics or well, half the parts in the parts list aren't in the pics.

for instance, the turbo in the pics is stock, at most its a hybrid, if it was on an HKS manifold it would be higher up.

two, the carbon fiber cooling panel isn't on there.

neither are the mirrors.

the AC is clearly there, along with the CAS, no hall sensor.

car in the pics has a power FC too...

i'm suspicious, quite frankly, and i think before i bought i'd like to see paperwork.
