Super Rare Mystery FC Dual Exhaust

Can anyone help me ID this exhaust. I looks like a racingbeat exhaust but isnt. I have seen it one time posted on this forum. I can't find it. I'm going to polish this up weld a 3 inch onto the y pipe and put it back on my car. It is 2.5 to 2.25 dual as it is right now. When i first put this on the car i could run 8 lbs boost prespooling on a stock setup.. blah blah blah anyways what is this???

Really old racing beats had RB engraved on the top of the exhaust tip.

I bought the same system used back in 2002 it very thick steel. It sounds great and yet I don't know what it is. I kept the system and am using it on my current FC. I thought the guy said HKS but they don't seem to sell anything like this.
It looks like racing beat but isn't marked.

It does sound good.

HKS has had a variety of full exhausts and catbacks over the years, a friend of mine has the full turbo back version. this looks like it was just the catback

I agree 100%. It looks like an HKS from the early to mid 90's. A friend of mine had the same one on an 88 turbo years ago. I purchased the HKS full turbo back system new in 1989 for my 87 turbo. Mine had the earlier first version round HKS mufflers.

:-) thank you guys. I put a corksport noise maker on my car and I'm dying to be able to drive a little through my neighborhood. I'm going to modify this system and put it on my car i really don't see any better solution outside of buying an RB exhaust...or a varex. Again thanks guys if anyone else has any pics put em up. I'll change the name of the thread for search purposes. Oh wait can't not a mod* old school skool hks fc3s fc exhaust mid 90s rare (hope the search engine works that way)

i had that exhaust before, i was told it was a very very old hks exhaust. its sounded great tho. quiet at idle, but sounded great when you opened up the throttle. i traded it for a dual greddy and regretted ever since lol.

IMO the FC should have twin exhaust. Singles look weird. When inspecting my car I noticed my mystery twins were very rusty. New muffler time! Apexi N1 here I come.

I like big mufflers, but others like small. Both the RB and the HKS legal sound excellent, though. The OP's set looks salvageable if the cans haven't rotted out inside. Scrub the rust off, rattlecan it with some flat black BBQ paint and polish the tips and it will look sharp!

early HKS 60mm catback, the round HKS mufflers were from the smaller 50mm catback...

That should make a big difference. That's a weak point of the twin mufflers.
