I've had vert fever all winter, haven't made the jump from coupe yet though. After all the work I've put into my turbo swap I'd be afraid to regret it. Car's like Rob's make it hard to resist though.

First update!
Little bit of time in AutoCAD and this is what I have so far. Blue are cuts, red is engraving.
Sorry about the **** picture, I'll get a better one next time.

Modified the way it was going to get cut out. I figure I'll cut the white areas out of black acrylic and the rest will be transparent/frosted and backlit.

the vert is a little beat up but.....
The wheels are kinda swapped on them though because the GXL is a shell the the vert's engine will be going into next week if all goes well and I was needing new tire when I got the shell and figured using those would save me some money for a while

Update!
I'm almost done with the drawing. Just missing a curve or two on the back wheel.
Next, I have to get into the laser lab and due a dry run to see if everything works okay...then, pick up some colored/clear lexan sheets to cut this bad boy out, and some oak for the frame.
Plenty of pictures, starting April 3rd (the day it gets cut)
