haha yeah if you get offered to race by douchebags that talk **** about rotaries you have a lot of self control to not race. i was in the passenger seat of my friends 3 series BMW and we had the top down and came up to a 93 touring edition FD and my friend rev'd the engine and lets just say it wasnt pretty for him once the light turned green, the FD totally smashed on him. rotary power ftw

Yesterday I was playing basketball with some people, and among them was Person A. Halfway through the game, while we're all paused, he shouts: "Hey gimme your keys so I can drive home quick and get something. I live just down there."
I said, "Uhh.... no."
He said, "Fine then can you give me a ride?"
I thought about it for a second... everyone was looking at me, I was feeling the peer pressure. Then I said, "No."
I really dislike this guy much more than ever now. To have the nerve to ask me for my keys... knowing that he got his car impounded, did he think I was seriously that freakin stupid to hand my keys over to him and have him crash my car? What the hell... there's only a handful of people I'd actually trust my car to, and they aren't even good at driving manual.
Then I also knew if I agreed to drive him (which I really didn't feel like doing, since I was in the middle of a basketball game and was all sweaty), he'd be talking trash to me the entire time, and trying to explain to me how to drive. Not to mention he bashed on rotaries... so I'm not even gonna put up with his crap anymore, or pretend that me and him are "cool".

Don't race them on the street, NEVER let them ride in your car. You don't want them to have ANY idea of how fast your car is. Take them to a track and annihilate them. They will never talk trash again. If they do it will be like this "once I get X mod and X turbo installed along with X lb N2O bottle I will beat you." Let them waste all sorts of money on there cars to get up to par with you. Then, NEVER RACE THEM again. Nothing is more satisfying than knowing you made them waste a bunch of $ for a race against you that will never happen.

You made the right decision to not race their dumb ***, too dangerous racing punk kids. I only like racing my buddies, at that dragstrip. But you really should have put a cap in their asses. You can't let people disrespect you or the wankel. Oh hell, Names/ addresses, I'll just do it myself.

My favorite response to "you wanna race?" is always "you got any ****** money?".
Normally I'd always get the I got 20 dollars response. I did manage to talk one guy in a subaru to a 300 dollar race. He backed out at the last second. Said he "couldnt afford to lose that much." Nevermind the fact that he started the **** talking in the first place. oh well.
Once I needed some gas money so I conned this kid with a 240 into a race for 20 bucks (he'd been hasseling me about a race for a while anyhow). Soon as I ripped away from him the kid hit his brakes and no lie went straight home. Funny as hell.
Anyhow, dont let douche bags like that bother you. Their just plain ignorant. But its always fun to call their bluff in front of everyone.
