Question Silver FC3S w/ 5Zigen's? Which?

So what color would you guys go with on my Rx-7 in the 5Zigen Pro Racer Gn+ rim style. I between either Hyper Black or Bronze. Let me know what you guys think and be honest!

Here is a picture of my Rx-7 first off:

And now here are what the Hyper Black look like:

And now here are what the Bronze look like:

If you have another rim suggestion let me know! I've been browsing everyone's pictures in the Non-technical section and haven't really found something simple, strong, and light. Oh and also a reasonable price obviously. Well anyway let me know which you think would look better on my FC3S

Those both look good imo. Just make sure you get good sizes, not 15x5's or something. I thought you were getting fn01r-c's?

I don't know I was thinking about it and then changed my mind on them. They are good rim's but I just thought the 6 spoke looked a little better. I was thinking about getting them in 17x8 and 17x9 or just getting 17x8 all around. Not sure yet. Haha and I can't believe you remember me haha

I like both. Make sure you do get a good offset, cuz you'll regret it if you don't! (17x8 +20, 17x9 +20, or somethin in that range)

They only come in like 7.5's and 8.5's etc.

For the 7.5's they come in 35, 43 and 48
For the 8.5's they come in 22, 30, 38, and 48

What should I go with? I don't want to have to modify anything such as fender rolling/ pulling. I'd like to avoid it. Opinions?

Heres the link by the way in-case you need the page and thanks in advance!

I don't think you will be happy with those sizes in the future. They aren't aggressive enough. I have 17x8 f and 17x9 r and that isn't even aggressive but it looks good. If you plan on autocrossing or anything I would go with Johnson's set up which is 17x9 I think +24 all the way around. Or if you want the "stanced" look you are going to want some wide low offset wheels. It all depends on what you want but I think the sizes posted are not worth sinking the money in to the wheels.

I agree, i been preaching this alot . It should be a long term investment. Honestly those wheels are somewhat ugly. The older FN01rc look better.

i agree for the agressive look +22 x 9up front +25 + 9.5 or 10in rear fits perfect with a subtle roll

they just dont offer that in those wheels. rpf1

subtle roll my ***, they hit even with coil overs. I know I had them

they will look cool, but dont kid yourself that they wont hit the body from time to time, washboard road will have you crying

My bro is buying a fender roller so I might end up doing that now. I think I'm just gonna keep looking for now because I am just not sure. I don't want to regret buying a wheel that I might not end up liking or have the right fitments. Everything has to be perfect. I'll just have to research more I guess =P.

Stance Coils most likely, Fender roll + Pull, and I'm probably thinking with the fender roll and pull I'll go staggard with 17x10 in the back and 17x9 in the front. The only problem which I have is finding the perfect tire size and offsets to match a Coilover upgrade because I definantly want a flush, aggressive look without any problems such as rubbing. Most likely want to avoid wheel spacers as well but who knows what I'll need. That's just half the fun about owning and modding a car =)

I think the hyper blacks are nice. I see way to many cars with fno1r-c's. Dont forget to post pics! I think 17's look to big on a FC. I would go with 16s. Ive also been looking for some rims and what sucks is that when I find the rim of my liking, they dont offer the bolt pattern and offset that I would prefer. The rims you already have on it also looks nice. A powder coat and drop would seal the deal

fn01 is kind of played out when i see them on rsx and 240s, but ive seen some 3rd gens on here with them and they still look good. I had em on my 240. They are not terribly expensive, but still a tasteful wheel in my opinion. Its a totally different ball game when you see them on rx7s rather than 240s

You can also find some good wheels on Zilvia *240sx/Z forum but since they are so popular, wheels get tossed around alot there*
http://zilvia.net/f/wheels-tires/ - Used wheels
http://zilvia.net/f/wheel-tire/ - Advertisers wheel section

deals like this, though because of the offset, they are not the concave ones
