i remember that car was on craigslist man for $500. that sounds about right.
my s5 shell with a blown motor and bad n/a lsd was $500 plus towing on trailer from san jose. no interior carpet, still okay leather seats no big dents but the lower side by the drivers door.

it looks like a good project are to me. Keep up the good work !!!
BUMP for restoration and saving another 7 from the junkyard.

How do you like Wyotech? How are the performance classes? Here at UTI all they really cover is engines as far as performance goes, doubt they'll even cover forced induction since were working on gay V8s.

I know what its like to mod a car on a college budget though, nice job regardless. I'd get some different size exhaust hangers to even it out with the cutouts but I'm pretty OCD on that type of stuff.

thanks guys. actually, i dont have a college budget, i am a technician at a vw resto shop making 12 an hour, looking to get more soon after the ase tests.
i love it, its awesome but im only just past suspension, steering, alignment, and now im on to brakes.
for the hangers, what im going to do is wail at the metal hooks on the car till i get what i want!
oh, and to the best of my knowledge, no forced induction, but we work on srt-4 engines............................ew. i hella want to bring in my rb26dett when i get it, but they wont let me
