shes done

so, i bought this car a couple of weeks ago from a kid for 500$.
after a motor swap, t2 drivetrain (minus engine) interior work, seats, exterior work, shes finally driveable and i took her on her maiden voyage. there is no better feeling then taking a car that is in shambles and building it up to a decent DD.
i just have to fill up the tranny fluid and thats it.
here are pics from start to finish.
starting when i just purchased the car and its at the dudes house:

then a walk around of it

it still needs a wee bit of work, i know i know, it needs a paintjob but that will be done after shaving everything in the rear. i have a few things still to button down and replace like the tps (on its way) i have to tighten down the oil cooler, replace the turn signal lense and skrews, new wheels and tires.
but besides that, its finished.

hey thanks guys. it was alot of work, i pretty much tore it down to a shell then built it back up. what a bitch, i hate stupid ricer kids that think that they know what they are doing and end up ******* things up. i had to rewire part of the dash, part of the engine bay, i still dont know whatsup with the turn signal, and i have to remake the door panels. ****, some people should be slapped.
but, i started wyotech today and ill get A TON of experience and parts 1/2 off!!!

It's starting to look very nice. It's what I plan to do to my FC when I get it. Complete teardown and overhaul.

If you ever want to slap a different color of paint besides the primer. Just a rattle can job. I know a couple of people that use this rattle can paint that comes out pretty good. Its called 2G nitro black by Montana paint.

Its graffiti paint and has a very nice spray cap. It pretty much lays it self down very evenly and requires very little wet sanding. and for around 30 bucks it comes out really nice. no blochy spots at all even before sanding. Its a super matte black.

aight. well, just took it for its "maiden voyage" and all was perfect. the reason that the gauge was pegged out is because it was reading propper pressure. i think the oil cooler was fucked or something, replaced the lines and cooler, and now reads perfect everything. got it to op temp and all checks out. got the new tps on its way, shift boot from redlinecustoms and i have to clean out the interior. got a part time job during the day before going to wyotech. only dude there with a 7 seems like.
fremont campus, if you go to wyotech and have a 7, shout out!

peace

oh, and on a sidenote, going to start on those fiberglass door panels. ill update when available!
