The brakes are not the only thing im going to have to keep up on. What about the manifolds, WP housing, control arms ect ect..got a little more work done on the steering rack tonight, trying to get it polished
This is 360 grit. Still have to go 500, 1000, 2000. Maybe wet sos pad and rubbing compound. Idk all the steps im going to take atm. depends when/how all the little scratches come out. Sometimes theres points when you can skip steps

polishing isn't always about taking materials off. with aluminum you can also think of it like this: the soft material can be moved around on the surface to smooth it and eventually polish it. like working with cement to trowel the surface to move it and flatten it and if you want you can even make it have a mirror smooth surface.
