Wondering if a s4 t2 throttle body n tps will work on a s5 t2?

 

Throttle body will bolt up, but the TPS won't plug in.

 

So I can put a s5 t2 tps and It should be good to go?

 

If I remember correctly the the S5 has two TPS's. So I don't know if it would work with just one, or if you could even hook it up to the S4 TB. I have an S4 TB on my S5 motor but I have an S4 harness. You'd be better off just finding an S5 TB.

 

im having trouble finding a stock throttle body. can use a S5 N/A throttle body on a S5 TII?

 

To help remove some mystery to your question, of the two TPS's on an S5, one is narrow band and the other wide band. The S4 is a single TPS that is only narrow band.

It might help is you shared what your end game is,,,,,what your trying to accomplish.

 

I have a really nice s4 tII throttle bodynot stock but not bastardised by an amatuer either

 

I bought a tb from a club member that doesnt have the diaphragm under the tps sensor and on the opposite side of the tb there is a plastic piece that has 2 vacuum nipples that runs the diaphragm. I had one that was on my car but i sold it after i got the new one. I just want to get the stock throttle body back. I deleted emissions and change the throttle body but now the car runs pig rich.. like 8 miles per gallon so i want to put the throttle body back to stock.

I have a stock one lying around. Tb are tricky things to be swapping and modding. I had a hard time putting my re nani on the rew intake

 

I also have a s4 haha
