S4 and S5 body differences

Are there any side by side shots people have of an S4 and S5 2nd gen? Are the fenders and doors basically the same? Trying to see if an '88 Vert and a '91 vert share those two parts.

Only differences are trim, bumpers, mirrors and tail lights. Heres my 87 with S5 trim (minus bumpers)

theres a difference between the s4/s5 rear bumpers?
i knew the moulding, tail lights, and front bumpers were different
but not the rear bumper
any pictures?

btw, White Rabbit
yes you can interchange the body panels
such as hood, fenders, doors, etc. (excluding trunk/hatch)

S5 bumper has more of a 2nd lip on the bottom, and the obvious molded in S5 trim.

I don't see a difference in the tail lights, and do all RX-7s have the circles as tail lights cause those look sexy.

^^ Referring to the pic above.

The left is an s4 and the right is s5. Reason why you cant tell the difference is because the s4 has s5 tail lights.

Also if the trim is painted a different colour and has a line through it, it's usually s4. Thats the easiest way to tell.

Here's my old 7, its an s4. Horrible camera sorry.

some of the S5's came with sideskirts too. not much of a noticeable difference but they are there on some. and the turn signals on the front bumper (not the side) are different.

can you fit a S5 front bumper on a S4 as a straight swap? or is some modification needed?

But I heard there were some problems with the turn lights, etc, when you are swapping the bumpers.

S4 aero mirrors have more of a square hard edged cut through them opposed to the sleeker S5 aero mirrors.

S4 nonturbo. S4 non turbo had no holes, S4 turbo were square like the nonturbo with a hole on the inside, S5 turbo and nonturbo are the same they are round with a hole. I think the s4 turbo mirrors are the best.

Do the swaps cause problems with the lights?
