S4 as a first car?
price wise you can find an s4 na in alright condtion under 2k. sometimes you get lucky find one under 1k, got mine for $700 but the motor went out in about a year considering it was a dd and used it for autocross alot.
for a TII you're probably looking at more than 3k but i suggest getting an na cause of reliability issues on some used TII models. if you know the basics of car mechanics you should be good. just be ready to diagnose alot of electrical issues, and don't just throw money at the car to fix a problem learned that the hard way
