rx7 drifter

Hello, I wanted to show you guys some pictures of my 1987 rx7 drifter that I am building. I am doing a JDM S5 turbo II swap with a knight sports turbo, I have got all the wiring finally done and I also got my S5 turbo II lsd rear end put in my car. With solid sub frame mounts and rear end mounts, plus a pinion snubber put in. And today I finally got my motor put in. I took the trans off before I put the motor in and I found that it has a almost new twin clutch from OS giken. And ever since I got the motor it always looked as if it was just rebuilt not to long ago. I think I was right because all tension bolts have been numbered with a marker. Then I am using solid motor and trans mounts. All I need to get done is get My KSP exhaust mounted that is 3inch pipe with a 4 and1/2 inch tip on it. Then get my Haltech e8 stand alone hooked up. Here are some pictures. of the motor, exhaust and rear end.

I don't mind the vlsd for sliding. Does pretty well but yeah if you have the money get something else.

Everyone has their preferences.

For a car who's soul intent is to daily drive and/or drift like ****, i wouldn't. So i didn't.

I know a few 240 guys around me that drift with them and do alright. It's pedal to the floor and prayer hoping the **** doesn't unlock mid drift though....

Nice clutch. Hope to see this thing in action soon!

I agree; you will want to go clutch type LSD.

Here are more pictures of my car and some tires for drifting I got for free they are all name brand and half way in good shape and none of them are dry rotted. and they are 17s and low pros. I hand polished my intake and got my pulleys painted and my front mount intercooler bolted up. And I got my SS clutch line put on and starting to hook all my SS hard brake and fuel lines hooked up.
