Refinished S5 TurboII Wheels
Figured I'd share with the forum as I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. Had them repaired and redone at Wheels America. Once I get tires and have them mounted, I'll snap some pics on the car.

Sorry for missing the thread updates and thanks for the comments. I was worried about having them redone but the results speak for themselves.
I ordered new center caps from Malloy Mazda leaving only 5 new ones in the stocks of Mazda North America. They arrived today and I'll have the tires mounted next week. More pictures will follow soon.

Sorry for the long delay but I finally got the wheels and center caps on.

Hard to tell by the picture of the suspension, but there is just over 1/2 cm of clearance between the strut and the tires (Advan AD08 225/50/16).

They look very nice. Did they have much curb rash to start with? I was probably going to fix the curb rash on mine and then paint or powdercoat them, but if something like this is still possible, I would probably prefer to do that. I love bare aluminum.
I looked up the Wheels America website, and it looks like they do some good work. Some of those before and after pictures are quite spectacular.

The wheels were in OK state prior with road rash and blemishes in the finish. It was either buy new wheels or refinish these. Wheels America charged $135/tire with tax or $543 for all 4. Had them done within a few days and I'm very happy with the work done.

I have to be a dick and say it.. why do people quote the whole original post?
Is it for those who forgot what link they clicked on or forgot what they read at the top of the page already?
People seem to use the quote button way to much on this forum.

To the self professed dick - you're being too hard on yourself. The answer is because many times if you don't quote, the response won't make sense. And most forum members aren't like you and read every post to threads. Those unlike you that don't will question what they're talking about.
To the OP, you should look into having the stock centercaps metalized so they work better with the now shinny aluminum.

Nothing to see here.
Jerry: I have the full set with center caps in excellent condition from my '91. Contact me if interested as I won't be putting them back on the FC.
