Racing Beat strut bar- color opinion?

Give me some opinions on the old school Racing Beat strut bar, too much gunmetal/anthrocite in the engine compartment? I just have it sitting there to see if I like it or not. It was the opinion of some other people that it would be too much and I should change the color- but to what?
I think I like it as is, but I might make it black?

stock they came white

I have this thing over 5 years, I honestly cant remember if it was Racing Beat or mazdatrix, but for some reason I keep picturing a RB decal once being on there- getting old sucks when you cant remember anything anymore.

shows you how long I have been gathering parts that I dont even remember what I have anymore, lol
I find parts tucked away somewhere and it feels like christmas time!

painting it the same black as my car has crossed my mind, but again im not sure, and of course I did remove it after taking the picture.
Everything clears with the bar all the way down, I already test fitted it and had a few bolts in place.

I think I remember now- the racing beat one used to have a flat spot on top where it said racing beat- thats what is stuck in my head.

messed up thing is I originally typed Mazdatrix, then changed it.

+1 on a great looking engine bay. real clean too

i honestly don't know how i feel on it anymore. i think the bay looks good without it, but adding the bar gives it a cluttered look. i'm not sure if it's just the color or not. i think its a good looking bar but i'm not sure why i dont like it on your application. i guess it must be the color then...

the engine bay ALWAYS seems to come up busier in pictures, I cant for the life of me figure out why? Everyone who sees it gives compliments.

I went to the beach Sunday morning, couple hundred cars, mostly vettes, mustangs, cobras, AC cobras, ferraris, and some old school muscle- definitly not cars in my catagory thats for sure. The car got its share of looks and questions.

It looks good in there, I think I will leave it as is, I can always change it later on.

Bolt that bitch in as-is! I've got one of those mazdatrix bars, mines powder coated chrome though. That anthracite color is hot. I see the bar has the mounting spot for the engine damper, are you going to be using that as well?

I dont think I am going to use the damper, I did not want to cut it off though in case I sell it later on.

Im going to leave the bar as is and give the car another go at a local cruise night and the beach again this weekend- see if the car still gets peeked at like its some kind of underage girl in a mini skirt that you can only look at for a few seconds then your scared someone might notice you- thats the way the harley guys and all the domestic muscle guys were looking at the engine bay, lol.

Why not? Will it not fit with the TII swapped engine or different engine mounts?

I just dont want it, I dont like solid mounts and I dont like engine braces, these engines dont have that much torque, using solid mounts or braces transfers alot of vibration into the car- I can do without that.

I use all competition mounts, but not solid mounts.
